• After years of research focusing on sustainability, the Temflex 165 Tape is 3M’s first solventless electrical tape offering. This means that it is manufactured without the use of solvents during the manufacturing process, which lessens the overall environmental impact of the tape.
• This tough tape is flame retardant in addition to being resistant to abrasion, moisture, alkalis, solvents, acids, and corrosion of electrical conductors. Rated for 600 V, it is an excellent choice for primary insulation, complex wrapping, and abrasion/puncture resistance applications.
• 3M Temflex 165 Vinyl Electrical Tape is a robust multi-purpose vinyl insulating tape that is well suited to a wide variety of environments, temperatures, and applications. It is constructed from a durable PVC and an aggressive adhesive to ensure tight wraps that provide longevity through resistance to unwrapping.
• The 5-year shelf life is also friendly, ensuring no tape is wasted if not used for a long period of time and the durable construction will cut down on waste by reducing the amount of reapplications that are needed. Sold in packs of 10 rolls.
